Maharawal Shri Shalivahan Singh Ji of Jaisalmer built the Jawahar Niwas Palace in golden sand stone in 1899 A.D. The palace stands proudly as a symbol of grace and regal charm. The present Maharawal Shri Brijraj Singh Ji converted the Jawahar Niwas Palace into a heritage hotel. The decor of the hotel has been done in the lines of old ambience and the royal splendor with many Jharokhas and Chhatries.
